Job Title:
Electronics Assembler Technician Job Description The Electronics Assembler Technician tests, assembles, troubleshoots, and repairs electronic components and equipment down to the board and component level. This role works closely with another technician to build and occasionally repair products using detailed blueprints and schematics. The work involves extremely small components, requires high attention to detail, and supports a fast-growing production environment where quality and consistency are essential. Responsibilities Test electronic components and assemblies to the board level using appropriate tools and procedures. Perform bench testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic equipment and assemblies. Assemble electronic products and subassemblies, including work at the component level. Apply knowledge of AC/DC electronic troubleshooting and repair theory to identify and resolve issues. Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. Perform repetitive, detail-oriented assembly tasks while maintaining high accuracy and consistency. Work closely with another technician to assemble and occasionally repair products according to specifications. Handle and assemble extremely small electronic components with precision and care. Use soldering techniques to assemble and repair circuit boards and components, following applicable standards. Assist with wire harness assembly as needed to support production requirements. Follow inspection and quality check procedures at all phases of production to ensure product quality. Maintain a clean and organized work area in the production assembly environment. Adhere to production schedules and support a production-driven workflow while upholding quality standards. Essential Skills At least 3-5 years of experience performing electrical assembly to the component level. Strong hands-on experience with electronic assembly, including board-level work. Ability to perform electrical testing on assemblies and components. Solid understanding of AC/DC electronic troubleshooting and repair theory. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and electronic schematics. Demonstrated skill in soldering electronic components and circuit boards. Experience working with extremely small electronic components with high precision. High attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately. High school diploma or equivalent. Additional Skills & Qualifications Technical school training or a technical degree in electronics or a related field is preferred. J-STD or IPC-610 soldering certification is preferred. Experience with wire harness assembly is preferred. Experience in production assembly environments is beneficial. Ability to work effectively alongside other technicians in a collaborative setting. Strong focus on quality, with familiarity in working under defined inspection and quality control processes. Work Environment The role is based in a clean production assembly environment that supports the manufacturing and repair of electronic products. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed while remaining production driven, with clear expectations for meeting output goals. Quality is a core focus, with inspection checks performed at all phases of production to ensure high standards are consistently met. Work involves handling extremely small components at a workstation or bench, using standard electronic assembly and test equipment. The company is experiencing rapid growth and is actively scaling its facilities to meet increasing product demand. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newtown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
