Rhode Island Job Summary:
The Assembler / Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical components according to specifications, blueprints, and work instructions. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and have strong communication skills in English to ensure accuracy and safety on the production floor.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical and electrical parts, sub-assemblies, and finished products following detailed instructions or schematics. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to perform precise assembly work. Inspect components for quality, accuracy, and proper function. Read and interpret work orders, diagrams, and assembly drawings (English required). Maintain a clean and organized workstation while adhering to safety procedures. Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. Report any defects, shortages, or technical issues to the supervisor immediately. Perform basic wiring, crimping, and soldering tasks (for electrical assembly roles).
Qualifications:
Previous experience in assembly or electrical assembly preferred. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required . Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to lift up to [30-50 lbs] and stand for extended periods. Basic understanding of tools, wiring, and assembly processes.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced production setting. Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed. Team-oriented environment focused on quality and safety.
