Job Title:
Electronic Assembler - $19/HOUR - START ASAP Job Description This role involves light electronic assembly work in a clean, quiet production environment, supported by a structured two-day orientation and on-the-job training. You will assemble and inspect circuit boards using magnifying glasses and microscopes, perform meticulous tasks that demand exceptional attention to detail, and contribute to high-quality electronics manufacturing for industrial, medical, and telecommunications applications. Responsibilities Perform board-level electronic assembly, including placing and securing components on circuit boards. Use magnifying glasses and microscopes to assemble and inspect small electronic components with a high degree of accuracy. Solder components onto stuffed circuit boards, ensuring all required components on each board are correctly and securely soldered. Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and other documentation to complete assembly tasks correctly. Conduct visual inspections to verify quality, identify defects, and ensure products meet required specifications. Follow detailed written and verbal instructions, leveraging strong communication and reading skills to complete work accurately. Maintain a high level of attention to detail while performing repetitive, meticulous tasks in a seated workstation environment. Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines introduced during orientation and reinforced on the job. Participate in training related to Lean manufacturing principles and apply them to daily work where appropriate. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and maintain consistent throughput. Essential Skills Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in an electronics environment. Experience with electronic assembly and board-level assembly. Proficiency in soldering electronic components on circuit boards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly documentation. Strong communication skills for understanding instructions and working with team members. Excellent reading skills to follow detailed procedures and work instructions. High level of attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Comfort working with magnifying glasses and microscopes for extended periods. Ability to sit and work at a station performing meticulous tasks for long durations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with Lean manufacturing concepts and willingness to apply continuous improvement practices. Experience inspecting electronic assemblies for quality and compliance with specifications. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively in a team environment. Willingness to complete required pre-employment screenings in accordance with company policy. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a clean, quieter electronics manufacturing facility focused on board-level assembly. Work is primarily performed at seated workstations using magnifying glasses and microscopes to handle small components. The environment emphasizes safety, with a two-day orientation that includes safety videos, documentation, and training on Lean manufacturing, followed by additional days of on-the-job training. Available schedules include a first shift (A shift) from Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and a second shift (B shift) from Monday to Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. You will work with standard electronic assembly tools and soldering equipment while following structured processes and quality standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
