Panel Assembler Technician 1stShift:
7am-3:30pm $17 - No experience, mechanical aptitude and consistent work history $19 - Assembly experience in past experience Job Description This role focuses on assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels, junction boxes, and wire harnesses for industrial equipment using detailed engineering prints. You will work hands-on through the entire build process, from fabricating controls and mounting components to performing final testing to ensure safe, accurate, and high-quality operation. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to following established procedures and standards. Responsibilities Assemble electrical control panels, junction boxes, and wire harnesses according to engineering prints and schematics. Physically mount and secure all electrical and mechanical components within control panels and related assemblies. Perform precise electrical wiring and panel wiring, ensuring correct routing, terminations, and labeling of all conductors. Use hand tools and basic mechanical techniques to fabricate, assemble, and adjust panel components as required. Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to guide assembly and wiring activities. Conduct testing of completed control panels to verify proper operation, continuity, and functionality. Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards and applicable procedures. Troubleshoot and correct wiring or assembly issues identified during inspection or testing. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company policies and procedures. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality goals. Essential Skills Proficiency using common hand tools for electrical and mechanical assembly tasks. Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with both electrical and mechanical components. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work. Ability to follow written instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines consistently. Work Environment This is a first-shift position with standard hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Work takes place in a production and assembly setting focused on building electrical control panels and related equipment. You will regularly use hand tools and work at benches or assembly stations while reading from engineering prints and blueprints. The atmosphere is described as very relaxed with a family feel, while still maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and meeting production goals. Typical work attire is appropriate for a hands-on manufacturing and assembly environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hixson, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
