Contract-to-Hire Shift :
1st Shift (6:00 AM•2:30 PM)
Compensation :
$20•24/hr
Overview:
We are seeking motivated and hands-on Low Voltage Switchgear Assemblers to join a growing manufacturing team supporting power distribution and protection systems. This role is responsible for assembling switchgear cabinets and electrical components in a fast-paced production environment using hand tools, power tools, and wiring techniques. Candidates should be comfortable working in a large manufacturing facility, performing mechanical assembly tasks, and supporting production ramp-up efforts. Job Duties:
Assemble switchgear cabinets and enclosure components according to specifications and work instructions Use hand and power tools, including drills, impacts, torque wrenches, grinders, and screwdrivers Perform basic wiring and electrical assembly tasks Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings Conduct quality inspections and identify defects or issues Maintain a clean and safe work environment Support production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing setting Follow all PPE and safety requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred 0-2 years of assembly, manufacturing, or electrical assembly experience Experience using hand tools and power tools Mechanical aptitude and comfort with wiring tasks Ability to read blueprints and schematics preferred Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs Must be able to pass a background check and drug test Must be able to start immediately Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation,
