OVERALL POSITION PURPOSE
Prepare, assemble and install all electrical components in boarding bridges, fully complete boarding bridges and walkways in the highest level of quality within established timeframes and economical standards.
CORE TASKS
1. Responsible for requesting necessary parts for PP1 door pre-electrical assembly. 2. Responsible for assembling and wiring PP1 door according to blueprint and/or work order. 3. Responsible for requesting necessary parts for PBB Safety Hoop pre-electrical assembly. 4. Responsible for assembling and wiring PBB Safety Hoop according to blueprint and/or work order. 5. Responsible for requesting necessary parts for Power Panel (TB 10) assembly. 6. Responsible for assembling and wiring Power Panels (TB 10) according to blueprint and/or work order. 7. Responsible for requesting necessary parts for floor heater pre-electrical assembly. 8. Responsible for assembling and wiring floor heater according to blueprint and/or work order. 9. Responsible for side trolley cables installations according to blueprint and point to point drawings. 10. Responsible for light fixtures and harness preparation according to blueprint and/or work order. 11. Responsible for installation of light fixtures and electrical wiring. 12. Responsible for performing testing of installed lights. 13. Accountable for correct cable connections by understanding of Point-to-Point cable connection and ensuring said connections are correct. 14. Responsible for accurately connecting circuits along the PBB and walkways. Must be able to understand all aspects of circuitry. 15. Participate and add value as a member of the Manufacturing Department. 16. Engages in effective communication within and across all departments. 17. Participate in Company Safety Program through safety meetings, audits, following good safe work practices and maintaining a safety and clean work environment. 18. Commitment to quality by meeting and exceeding our customer expectations and continuously improving our quality management system and their processes to create value for customers, employees, and shareholders.
OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY, HEALTH & ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for working in accordance with the training, work procedures, and instructions to ensure satisfactory Safety Health & Environmental performance. Exercise personal responsibility in taking reasonable care of the safety and health of themselves and others who may be affected by their activities. Responsible for reporting accidents, unsafe acts and defective equipment to their supervisor. Cooperate with management and supervisors by actively participating in Safety Health & Environmental improvement activities. Qualifications Must be able to read blueprints. Must have basic/extensive/expert knowledge of 110/220 wiring. Must have basic knowledge of 480/600 wiring. Must have basic knowledge AC/DC voltage. Must have basic knowledge of electrical measuring equipment. Possess strong discipline to provide accurate and timely data. Must be able to work independently, making sound decisions utilizing good judgement. Impeccable attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work well with a team. Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time - accurately, efficiently and effectively. Must be self-directed, professional and dependable. Demonstrate dependable work habits and schedule. Observe all safety rules, procedures, and OSHA regulations. Expected (Educational) Qualifications High School Graduate with electrical aptitude and training or equivalent work-related experience.
