We design and build custom industrial control systems for manufacturing and process industries across Texas and North America. Our work focuses on high-quality automation solutions, UL-compliant control panels, PLC integration, and industrial electrical systems. If you enjoy hands-on electrical assembly, wiring industrial controls, and building high-quality panels from schematics, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Build and wire industrial electrical control panels from electrical schematics and layout drawings Mount and install components including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, relays, power supplies, breakers, and terminal blocks Perform point-to-point wiring and cable routing Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and BOMs Label and organize wiring according to company and customer standards Perform panel testing, continuity checks, and troubleshooting Assist with panel modifications, field installations, and startup support when required Maintain a clean and safe work environment Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery Qualifications 3+ years of experience building industrial electrical control panels Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control drawings Experience with industrial control components and automation systems Familiarity with UL508A standards preferred Strong understanding of industrial electrical wiring practices Experience using hand tools, power tools, wire ferrule/crimp tools, and test equipment Ability to work independently and as part of a team High attention to detail and workmanship quality Must be highly skilled in the mechanical fabrication side of panel building, including drilling, tapping, cutouts, layout work, and modification of electrical enclosures and back panels Experience using knockout punches, hole saws, drill presses, jigsaws, nibblers, and other fabrication tools required Ability to produce clean, precise panel cutouts for HMIs, pushbuttons, disconnects, fans, and cable entry systems Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship in panel layout and mechanical assembly Must be able to work from panel layout drawings and ensure professional-quality finished products The ideal candidate will have strong electrical wiring experience combined with excellent mechanical fabrication skills for professional industrial control panel construction. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Leadership & Inventory Experience (Preferred) Prior lead, supervisory, or shop management experience is a plus Ability to help manage workflow, prioritize panel builds, and support junior builders when needed Experience maintaining inventory levels, organizing electrical components, and tracking shop materials is highly preferred Familiarity with BOMs (Bills of Materials), parts staging, and communicating material shortages to purchasing or project management teams Strong organizational and time-management skills The ideal candidate will have strong electrical wiring experience, excellent mechanical fabrication skills, and the ability to help manage shop workflow and inventory within a fast-paced panel fabrication environment.
