Location:
Garland, TX Open Positions Job Requirements Solder Technicians 2-5 years of hand soldering and rework experience Experience with SMT and through-hole components Microscope soldering experience preferred IPC J-STD-001 and
IPC-A-610
knowledge strongly preferred
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience in electronic hand soldering and PCBA rework.
Certifications:
Current or recent certification in
IPC J-STD-001
(Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies) and
IPC-A-610
is strongly preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of electronic components, polarity markings, and the difference between leaded and lead-free soldering processes.
Tool Proficiency:
Experience using precision soldering irons, hot air pencils, desoldering tweezers, flux, and solder wick. Attention to
Detail:
Meticulous work ethic with the ability to focus on highly detailed tasks for extended periods.
Communication:
Ability to provide feedback to SMT operators regarding recurring solder issues to help improve the overall manufacturing process.
