Electrical Assembler Apache Workforce Houston, TX 77051 & 77041
Day & Night Shift Available Pay:
$17.00-$25.00/hour based on experience
Night Shift Differential:
Additional 10% on top of base pay Apache Workforce is currently hiring Electrical Assemblers for opportunities in Houston, TX. We are seeking candidates with electrical assembly, conduit, wiring, and manufacturing experience who are ready to work in a fast-paced industrial environment. Position Overview The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling electrical components, wiring systems, and electrical sub-assemblies using hand tools, electric tools, and pneumatic equipment. This role supports manufacturing operations while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards. Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical and electrical assembly operations Assemble and install electrical components and sub-assemblies Perform conduit wiring and support fabrication Pull and route wiring according to specifications Read and interpret schematics, engineered drawings, and technical documents Use hand tools, electric tools, and pneumatic tools safely and efficiently Inspect materials and report defective components or concerns to supervisors Maintain clean and organized work areas following safety procedures Complete production tasks according to manufacturing schedules Rotate between workstations as production needs require Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety procedures Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors Electrical Assembler Levels Electrical Assembler I Perform conduit wiring Pull wiring and assist with electrical installations Fabricate piping and supports Identify and install basic electrical components Minimum 3 months of manufacturing or electrical assembly experience Electrical Assembler II Includes all Level I responsibilities, plus: LV wiring and termination MV wiring and termination 2-5 years of electrical assembly experience Ability to work independently with limited supervision Electrical Assembler III Includes all Level I & II responsibilities, plus: Control wiring and MCC wiring 5+ years of electrical assembly experience Advanced troubleshooting and assembly knowledge Qualifications & Skills Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Familiarity with assembly tools and measuring instruments Basic shop math and measurement skills Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Good verbal and written English communication skills Ability to follow procedures and work safely in a manufacturing environment Education High School Diploma or GED required Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work performed in a manufacturing/shop environment Non-air-conditioned facility Frequent lifting and moving of materials up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk for extended periods Ability to work up to 10-hour shifts and overtime as needed May rotate between workstations during production processes Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required at all times Ear protection recommended
