Overview This role involves assembling and refurbishing units by following detailed work instructions, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities Produce assemblies and sub-assemblies by assembling parts and components. Read and utilize work instructions according to ISO9000 standards. Use hand tools or soldering irons to assemble parts. Conduct quality control checks through inspections and testing. Practice Lean 5S techniques including cleaning and maintaining work area and equipment. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations. Document actions by completing production and quality forms. Solder through-hole wires and components to PCBA. Escalate issues to Team Lead or Supervisor. Recommend process improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency. Glue units closed using 2-part methacrylate adhesive. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 3+ years soldering experience with SMT and through-hole components down to 0402 size. 2+ years electrical and mechanical assembly experience. Must be able to stand or sit for long periods, grasp and use hand tools for extended periods, and lift up to 25 pounds if needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience in soldering.
