Electronic Assembly Technician Location:
Katy, TX Pay Rate:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM | Monday-Friday Step Up. Snap In. Ship Out. Forget the desk job — this is hands-on work where you'll see what you build every day. We're hiring Electronic Assembly Technicians to keep the line alive and the products rolling. If you're reliable, tough, and ready to earn steady pay, this gig's got your name on it. The Requirement Checklist High school diploma or GED 1+ year of experience in electronics assembly or a similar technical manufacturing role Experience reading schematics, wiring diagrams, or assembly instructions Hands-on experience with soldering and electronic components Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail Ability to use measurement tools and basic testing equipment Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40-50 lbs as needed Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment IPC certification (e.g., IPC-A-610) Experience with surface-mount (SMT) or through-hole assembly Familiarity with testing equipment such as multimeters Experience working in a regulated or quality-driven environment (ISO, etc.) Experience with ERP/MES systems Real Perks. No drama, just good people working together How You'll Make an Impact Assemble electronic components, circuit boards, and subassemblies according to schematics, blueprints, and work instructions. Perform precision wiring, soldering, and component placement (through-hole and/or surface mount as applicable) Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized electronic assembly equipment. Interpret technical diagrams, bills of materials (BOMs), and assembly drawings. Conduct in-process inspections and basic functional testing to ensure the product meets specifications. Troubleshoot and rework defective assemblies as needed Maintain accurate production and quality documentation. Ensure compliance with ESD (electrostatic discharge) and safety protocols. Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to identify and resolve assembly issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation. Clear, Friendly, and On Your Side. Just Ask Andrei.
