Control Panel Technician

Control Panel Responsibilities Dimension and layout of back panels and enclosures. Mount components to back panels and enclosures. Route and bundle wire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards. Point to point wiring of relays, controls, PLCs, I/O Modules, VFDs, Interfaces, and Instrumentation. Troubleshoot panels to eliminate wiring errors and component malfunctions. Maintain red line drawing mark-ups of changes required during fabrication. Communicate red line changes to Manufacturing Manager for revision before completion. Meet deadlines under pressure. Perform other duties as assigned or needed. Mechanical, electrical, and network installation of systems. Essential Skills A high standard of quality and attention to detail. Excellent people skills with a can-do attitude. Ability to understand and work from schematics. Knowledge of electrical theory and terminology. Minimum 2 years of experience. Mechanical assembly expertise. PLC knowledge. Ability to read wiring diagrams and perform point-to-point wiring. Additional Skills & Qualifications Panel builder, panel wirer, panel assembler skills. Experience in mechanical assembly. Familiarity with PLC - Allen Bradley assembly. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Plano, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
