Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be familiar with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) electronic components and SMT assembly processes Must be able to set-up and operate automated SMT assembly equipment including Screen Printer, Pick and Place Machine, Reflow Oven and X-Ray Machine Able to perform visual inspections of SMT assemblies Able to maintain accurate job tracking records Able to interpret
IPC-A-610
standards for acceptability and customer specifications Shall be accountable for quality, quantity and inspection of work performed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
• Must have Knowledge and ability to operate Fuji AIMEX-III, Fuji NXT/CP Pick & Place Equipment Knowledge and ability to setup, verify and change component in Fuji Feeders Knowledge and ability to validate Fuji program and kitted parts Knowledge of Component Identification and correct part polarity marking Knowledge of bill of materials, assembly drawings, product specific documentation, work instructions, and other general documents Strong verbal/written communication as well as organization/interpersonal skills Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment knowledge and experience of Micronic Mydata machine is a plus.
Primary Responsibilities:
Verify completeness of customer supplied PCA documentation files Create Assembly Drawings and DNI lists from customer supplied CAD files Program Surface Mount Technology (SMT) machines Verify First Article Assembly Debug SMT programs Clean the SMT machine, tools, and equipment Run SMT machines Inspect boards produced for component alignment, missing components, incorrect or damaged components, component orientation, and solder joint quality Manually install missing components Transfer completed assemblies to the next work station Qualifications and Requirements Familiarity with different CAD data formats, such as ASCII, Gerber, XY, Excel, and Word Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel Must be familiar with Printed Circuit Board manufacturing data file use Familiarity with Electro-static Discharge precautions
