Job Description:
Who We Are:
Join an independent R D company as a skilled technician to assemble, maintain, and repair experimental electronics equipment to aide in solving national security problems. Objectives of this
Role:
Work on a variety of projects and/or current challenges to support the lifecycle of electronic designs. Develop Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), assist with the creation of detailed schematic drawings and Library component generation for electronic designs. Solder components to PCBs, Work on Miniature Electromechanical systems. Assist engineers with testing newly developed electronic designs and also help troubleshoot on test bench. Work independently and in team environments.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Soldering fine pitched surface mount components to PCBs, soldering rework, and assembly. Responsibilities include Schematic capture, development of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), and Library component generation. Construct custom cables. Assist engineering staff with testing of new electronic designs. Complete assigned tasks without direct supervision and work on multiple tasks in parallel.
Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent or an Associates degree in Electronics. Certifications is preferred or working towards a certification/degree in electronics. 1 years: Experience with surface mount soldering. Experience troubleshooting and testing analog and digital electronics is beneficial. Experience in PCB design software is preferred. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
Special Requirements:
Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
