Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Job Summary The Electrical Panel Assembler is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels and related components according to engineering drawings, schematics, and company quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, hands-on electrical skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and BOMs to assemble control panels and cabinets.
  • Install components such as breakers, relays, PLCs, power supplies, terminal blocks, switches, VFDs, and sensors.
  • Cut, strip, crimp, terminate, and route wires neatly according to specified standards.
  • Layout components on backplates and enclosures using drills, punches, and hand tools.
  • Perform point-to-point wiring and ensure proper labeling of wires and components.
  • Conduct basic electrical testing (continuity checks, insulation resistance, function tests).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve wiring or assembly issues during panel build and testing.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Assist with documentation updates and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other assemblers to meet project timelines and quality requirements.
