Cable Assembler Sugar Land, TX Pay Rate:

$18.00 per hour

Success With:

High school diploma or equivalent required. 3 years of cable assembly, wiring, or electrical assembly experience preferred. Ability to read basic blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions . Experience using hand tools such as wire cutters, crimpers, and soldering irons . Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing en vironment . Good communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Skills Experience in electronics manufacturing or PCB assembly environments . Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-620 for cable and wire harness assembly) is a plus. Familiarity with testing equipment such as multimeters . Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

What You'll Be Hands-On With:

Assemble cables, wire harnesses, and electrical components according to work instructions and engineering drawings. Perform cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and terminating wires . Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly drawings . Install connectors, terminals, and other cable components. Inspect assembled cables to ensure quality and accuracy . Perform continuity testing and basic electrical testing of cable assemblies. Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety and quality standards . Report any assembly issues, defects, or material shortages to supervisors. Work closely with production and quality teams to meet production deadlines and quality requirements .
