Electromechanical Assembler Location :
St.
George, UT Pay Rate:
$21.00•$23.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 6:00 AM•2:00
PM Status:
Temporary (6-7 months)
Environment:
Dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing floor PrideStaff is seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembler for a premier manufacturing client dedicated to excellence in automation and machine design. This role is vital to the manufacturing process, focusing on building complex assemblies and ensuring units are production-ready. Core Responsibilities As an Electromechanical Assembler, you will provide reliable support in building complex mechanical and electrical assemblies.
Key duties include:
Assembly & Integration:
Perform electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical assemblies using engineering drawings, schematics, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
Technical Execution:
Install complex wiring per schematics without supervision and perform precision soldering functions.
Testing & Troubleshooting:
Identify mechanical or operational issues, troubleshoot problems, and generate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to make corrections.
Technical Documentation:
Read and interpret blueprints and production order descriptions (PODs) while maintaining accurate records of all builds.
Programming:
Download and program software to IC chips or PLCs.
Continuous Improvement:
Implement corrective actions to improve assembly reliability and produce fixtures/tools to enhance production performance.
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Technical school experience is preferred.
Experience:
1+ years of related assembly experience preferred.
Technical Skills:
• Strong ability to read/interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings. Proficiency with micrometers and calipers to calculate dimensions and tolerances. Strong mathematical skills (fractions, percentages, ratios, and basic geometry). Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Environment:
Work is performed at a workstation on a manufacturing floor; may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts or electrical hazards.
Physical Demands:
Requires sitting or standing for long periods. Must have fine motor skills for equipment calibration and good vision for high-level wiring projects.
Activity:
Frequently required to walk, bend, or reach; occasionally required to lift/push/carry heavy items.

$21.00•$23.00 per hour
