Job Description:
Tridyne, a well-established manufacturing company in Burlington, Vermont, is seeking a full-time Technical/Engineering Specialist to support a variety of hands-on and technical functions within its operations. This role is responsible for assisting with control panel design and assembly, reverse engineering existing products, and supporting machine assembly and testing. The ideal candidate will work closely with the product, applications, manufacturing, and sales teams to help ensure projects move efficiently from concept through production. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with mechanical and electrical components, and contributing to a collaborative manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical knowledge, mechanical ability, and strong communication skills. Qualified applicants should be comfortable reading schematics, wiring control panels, using hand tools, and working with components such as circuit breakers, relays, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). A strong understanding of how electrical and mechanical systems work together in a manufacturing setting is important for success in this position. Candidates should also be able to troubleshoot wiring issues, assist with machine testing and assembly, and apply sound mathematical and problem-solving skills to day-to-day tasks.
