Job Title:
Electrical Assembler Job Description As an Electrical Assembler, you will play a key role in assembling Power Buggies, which are essentially mini dump trucks used for concrete or mulch in areas where larger dump trucks cannot access. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the effective and efficient assembly, wiring, and testing of these machines. Responsibilities Assemble Power Buggies and assist with concrete level machines if necessary. Wire harnesses and other electrical wires to the control panel. Connect all tubes and hydraulic lines. Test machines to ensure functionality, including directional controls. Utilize lifts and small overhead cranes for machine assembly. Collaborate with the Plant Manager who will prepare all necessary parts. Essential Skills At least 1 year of experience as an electrical assembler. Proficiency in mechanics, electrical assembly, and blueprint reading. Experience with fabrication, troubleshooting, welding, and schematic reading. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1 year of experience as an auto mechanic is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Why Work Here? Work Environment The position operates on the 1st shift: Monday to Thursday (6 AM to 3:30 PM) and Friday (6 AM to 10 AM), with a 30-minute lunch break. The work attire includes steel toes, jeans, and a t-shirt. The shop area is two years old, extremely clean, climate-controlled, equipped with ceiling fans, big garage doors, heated floors, and a nice break room. Candidates should be comfortable commuting between two facilities, with the main location in Darien and the power buggy line in Delavan. The company will relocate to a larger facility in Beloit, which will be twice the size of the current one. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beloit, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
