Job Title:
Mechanical Assembler Aerotek is hiring now for their best clients in the market. Grab this opportunity to work with one of our client for a Mechanical Assembler position with pay range started from $23/HR where you will get the room to grow and make your perfect career Job Description This role focuses on assembling mechanical enclosures for a variety of machines, using both mechanical and basic electrical skills. You will interpret blueprints, work with hand and power tools, and ensure that all assemblies meet quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical enclosures for various machines according to engineering drawings and specifications. Interpret and follow blueprints and technical diagrams to complete accurate assemblies. Use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively during the assembly process. Fit, align, and secure mechanical components to ensure proper function and structural integrity. Perform basic electrical assembly tasks as required to complete the enclosure build. Inspect completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards. Identify and report any defects, discrepancies, or issues encountered during assembly. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with workplace guidelines. Essential Skills At least 1 year of recent experience interpreting blueprints. At least 1 year of mechanical assembly experience. Proficiency in mechanical assembly techniques for enclosures or similar products. Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and technical documentation. Experience using common hand and power tools safely. Basic understanding of electrical components and wiring as they relate to mechanical assemblies. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience assembling industrial machinery or equipment enclosures. Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical or assembly issues. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
