Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembly and Panel Wiring Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling electrical panels, wiring components, and ensuring all electrical systems meet quality standards and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, electrical experience, and proficiency with various hand and power tools. Responsibilities Assemble electrical panels according to detailed schematics and technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards such as IPC 610. Wire electrical components, including PCB (Printed Circuit Boards), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and surface mount technology (SMT) devices. Solder components onto PCBs with precision, adhering to IPC 610 standards for quality and safety. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment to prepare parts and ensure proper fit and finish. Verify electrical connections using ohmmeters and other testing devices to confirm circuit integrity. Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to complete assembly tasks efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with engineering teams during troubleshooting or design modifications to improve assembly processes. Qualifications Proven experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, or related manufacturing roles. Strong knowledge of PCB assembly, soldering techniques, and surface mount technology. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematic reading. Experience working with IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies. Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment effectively. Electrical experience involving wiring, testing with ohmmeters, and troubleshooting circuits. Ability to interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety standards.
