Job Description

The B-Level Assembler - Panel Fabrication & Wiring is responsible for independently assembling and wiring standard electrical panels using engineering prints and schematics. This role requires the ability to interpret wiring diagrams, perform mechanical fabrication, and complete panel wiring to established workmanship and quality standards. The B-Level Assembler contributes to production by building repeatable, quality-ready assemblies with minimal supervision and limited reliance on higher-level rework. Key Responsibilities Independently assemble standard electrical panels using engineering prints, schematics, and panel layouts Interpret wiring diagrams and component layouts with minimal clarification from engineering or leadership Perform mechanical fabrication including drilling, tapping, and preparation for component mounting Select appropriate hardware, drill sizes, and mounting methods to ensure proper component installation Hand-wire electrical panels directly from schematics rather than relying solely on wire labels Perform manual crimping using approved tools for terminals, ferrules, and standard lug sizes Route and terminate wiring according to defined separation, routing, and workmanship standards Inspect completed work to validate wire routing, termination quality, and overall panel integrity Apply consistent workmanship standards including proper labeling, torque specifications, and overall cleanliness Produce repeatable, quality-control-ready panels that meet internal quality and safety requirements Qualifications Previous experience in electrical or panel assembly within a manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings Experience with hand tools, drilling equipment, and fabrication tools used in panel assembly Proficiency with manual crimping tools and proper wire termination techniques Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards Ability to work independently and manage assigned builds with minimal oversight Capability Expectations - B-Level Assembler The B-Level Assembler represents a fully independent production contributor and is expected to: Complete panel builds from prints and schematics with minimal guidance Maintain consistent wiring quality, routing, and termination standards Produce assemblies that meet quality control expectations without reliance on A-Level rework Demonstrate sound judgment in fabrication methods, hardware selection, and wiring practices
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
