Job Description

The Lighting Assembler is responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and packaging lighting fixtures and related components according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This hands-on position requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and a commitment to producing high-quality products safely and accurately. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization. Essential Responsibilities
  • Assemble lighting fixtures, components, and subassemblies according to specifications and production schedules
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions
  • Perform electrical wiring and component installation using hand and power tools
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and compliance with company standards
  • Test lighting fixtures and troubleshoot basic assembly or wiring issues as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Package completed products for shipment while ensuring protection and accuracy
  • Assist with inventory organization and material handling as required
  • Follow all safety procedures, quality procedures, and company policies
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production or quality concerns
  • Support continuous improvement efforts within the manufacturing process
  • Perform additional duties as assigned Skills & Qualifications
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools safely
  • Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and basic technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
  • Self-motivated and dependable with a strong work ethic
  • Basic computer skills are a plus
  • Willingness to learn new processes and techniques
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior manufacturing, assembly, or electrical assembly experience preferred but not required
  • Vocational or technical training related to manufacturing, electronics, or assembly is a plus Work Environment
  • Manufacturing and production facility environment
  • Exposure to tools, machinery, and electrical components
  • PPE may be required depending on work area and task
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
