Motor Assembler

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Motor Assembler to join our production team in Birmingham, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electric motors and related components using hand and power tools. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Assemble electric motors and subassemblies according to work instructions, blueprints, and specifications Utilize hand and power tools (e.g., drills, wrenches, torque tools) safely and effectively Perform basic mechanical inspections to ensure product quality and accuracy Follow production schedules to meet daily quotas and deadlines Maintain a clean and organized workspace Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Identify and report any defects, issues, or opportunities for process improvement Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Birmingham, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
