About the Role As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will play a vital role in the production of high-reliability electronics, ensuring that every component meets rigorous precision standards. You will utilize your technical expertise in assembly and inspection to drive quality and efficiency in our manufacturing workflows. Responsibilities Execute complex mechanical assembly tasks by interpreting detailed engineering schematics and technical specifications. Ensure product integrity by performing meticulous inspections using microscopes and precision measurement tools. Support the seamless operation of production lines through efficient machine setup and component changeover. Prepare electronic components, including BGA preparation, solder pot tinning, and precise hand-loading of PCBs. Maintain high standards of quality by applying conformal coatings, adhesives, and masking materials according to strict guidelines. Contribute to continuous improvement by documenting production data and troubleshooting assembly issues through careful disassembly. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or GED. 5+ years of hands-on experience in precision mechanical or electronics assembly. Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and identifying electronic components. Proven ability to operate inspection equipment and maintain quality documentation. Capability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform repetitive, detail-oriented tasks. U.S. Citizenship status. Preferred Skills Background in aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability manufacturing sectors. Familiarity with AS9100 quality management systems. Hands-on experience with prototype assembly and advanced soldering techniques.
