Job Description

MUST HAVE MOTOR WINDING EXPERIENCE
Summary:
A motor winder plays a vital role in ensuring the dependable performance of electric motors and related equipment by skillfully repairing, rewinding, and maintaining their internal components—particularly through the precise task of coil winding. Their responsibilities include diagnosing faults, repairing or replacing damaged windings, and optimizing motor function to extend service life. This work is essential to keeping industrial and commercial systems running smoothly across a wide range of applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Rewind electric motors, stators and armatures. Inspect equipment and parts for damage, diagnose possible reason(s) for failure. Provide information on parts/work required. Provide recommendations to improve reliability of equipment. Complete information in reports as required. Proficient knowledge of the different winding connections, insulations and welding/soldering. Highly skill in testing equipment (ex. Baker, PdMA, Core Tester, Infrared Camera). Data collection, recording and verification. Maintain Freezing Compressor Solutions quality standards for repair. QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Required:
High School Diploma Minimum of 5 years' experience in winding AC/DC electric motor stators, both random and form coil, armatures, and field frames. Significant mechanical knowledge and/or experience. Highly motivated self-performer with good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work well in a team environment. Basic computer skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills
