Job Description
Direct Hire Assembler Engineering Technician - Optical Systems (Aerospace Applications)- Must be US Persons with ability to have Secret Clearance About the Role Join a growing engineering team developing advanced optical and opto-electronic systems used in aerospace, astronomical, and laser communication applications. This is a hands-on role with strong ownership and global customer exposure. Key Responsibilities Assemble and integrate precision optical and opto-electronic systems Read and follow blueprints and technical drawings Perform basic optical alignment and system integration Support onsite installation and deployment at customer locations worldwide Troubleshoot issues during assembly and field deployments Required Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience assembling optical or opto-electronic systems Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience with precision mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies Willingness to travel extensively (including international) Preferred Experience Aerospace, defense, photonics, or laser systems background Optical alignment or precision instrumentation experience Field installation or customer-facing technical support What We're Looking For A hands-on technician who enjoys building and working directly with hardware Someone comfortable in a small, collaborative team environment A candidate excited about travel and customer-facing deployment work #GRP2 Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
