Temp-to-Hire Position Overview Seeking mechanically inclined candidates to perform assembly, testing, inspection, and production support activities in a manufacturing environment. Candidates should be comfortable using hand tools, power tools, test equipment, blueprints, and inspection tools while maintaining quality and production standards. Required Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 0-1 year of assembly, manufacturing, production, mechanical, or technical experience.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints, route sheets, and work instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills and data entry experience.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of quality and safety procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly and testing operations using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, gauges, and test equipment.
- Assemble, inspect, and test products according to blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
- Record test results and production data accurately.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure product quality.
- Utilize measuring instruments and basic electrical testing equipment.
- Perform touch-up painting, cleaning, finishing, and detailing operations.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and FOD-free work environment.
- Ensure equipment calibration requirements are followed.
