We are seeking an adept Mechanical Assembler to join our Elevator Controls team at Vantage Elevation. You'll play a hands-on role in delivering quality, safety, and reliability across our operations. Requirements We are searching for a candidate with: Experience with hand tools such as power screwdrivers, hammer, drills and saws Experience with electronic and pneumatic tooling Forklift and pallet jack certification, or the ability to become certified Ability to load, unload and drive company vehicles safely Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Attention to detail Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to follow company policies and procedures Ability to lift and handle objects up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation, as required Basic knowledge of inventory management and cycle counting Familiarity with schematic diagrams is a plus Electrical experience is a plus Duties and Responsibilities A typical day may include: Assisting in setting up new building production floor under the supervision of the team lead Using proper PPE as required Assembling mechanical parts, components, and systems following engineering drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions. Inspecting components and assemblies for defects and ensure they meet quality standards Performing functional tests to verify proper assembly and operation of assemblies Providing input to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality Using hand tools and power tools to disassemble and assemble equipment, shelving, material pallets, etc Using forklift and/or pallet jack, as needed Mounting panel components on sub-plates Installing controller components in steel enclosures using hand tools Other duties as assigned Benefits of Working With Us $18.76- $22.08 per hour 12.5 Vacation Days, 8 Paid Holidays, 5 Sick Days Medical (Kaiser and BCBS), Dental, Vision and 401K Tuition Reimbursement And more!
