Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Entry Production Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and inspecting various mechanical components and products to ensure quality and precision. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail to contribute to a dynamic production environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting manufacturing operations by utilizing hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to meet production standards efficiently and safely. Duties Assemble mechanical parts and components following detailed schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate assembly and measurements. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and fabrication drawings to guide assembly processes. Operate fabrication equipment such as welding machines, soldering tools, and machining devices when required. Conduct quality inspections utilizing precision measurement instruments to verify component dimensions and assembly accuracy. Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols; assist in warehouse tasks including material handling with forklifts when necessary. Support fabrication and machining tasks as needed to meet production schedules. Qualifications Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly environments preferred; warehouse experience is a plus. Mechanical knowledge with familiarity of blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and fabrication techniques. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Basic understanding of welding, soldering, machining, and fabrication processes. Ability to operate forklifts safely (certification preferred but not required). Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity. Effective communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
