Mechanical Assembler

PrideStaff is currently working with a medical device manufacturer to find a Mechanical Assembler in Golden, CO. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, contingent upon employee performance and business needs. The Mechanical Assembler will be assembling and fabricating mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of a production line in a manufacturing organization.

Job Duties:

Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products Utilize hand held tools, and power tools such as a hand held screw and drill gun Performing soldering for simple wiring applications Maintain inventory of product in work stations Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes

Job Requirements:

Good communication skills Physical fitness and hand/arm strength to handle required tools Excellent hand-eye coordination Ability to operate soldering machines Ability to interpret technical documentation Good judgement and decision making Working knowledge of drills and screw guns Working knowledge of wire stripping Ability to keep the workstation clean and organized No level of education is required for this position PrideStaff Top rated staffing company 15 years in a row.
