Responsibilities Assemble and test electromechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies for wind turbine components, including installation, adhesive bonding, drilling, tapping, torqueing, lubricating, and wiring. Work from engineering drawings, work instructions, wiring diagrams, and characteristic verification plans (CVPs) to complete tasks accurately. Read and interpret work instructions and blueprints to perform precise assembly and installation activities. Efficiently use calibrated equipment and machinery as part of the assembly and test processes. Utilize various hand tools, electrical tools, and pneumatic air tools to complete daily work assignments. Handle and apply appropriate chemicals, interpreting safety data and shelf‑life information to ensure safe and proper use. Accurately inspect the condition of incoming hardware and components before assembly. Follow environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance requirements for wind turbine assembly and test operations. Perform complete and accurate quality documentation, ensuring records reflect actual work performed and inspection results. Assist in the implementation of wind turbine documentation updates and process improvements. Initiate and drive process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency in the assembly area. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes in a safe and compliant manner. Maintain manual or computerized records related to production, quality, and process activities. Adhere to and follow all safety procedures, including lock‑out/tag‑out, reporting safety concerns, and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly with coworkers and leads to coordinate work and resolve issues. Follow and promote safe work practices and support a disciplined, team‑first culture on the production floor. Essential Skills Manufacturing or mechanical experience using electrical and pneumatic air hand tools in a production environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, blueprints, and wiring diagrams. Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical theories as they apply to assembly and test work. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and standard assembly equipment. Capability to complete and maintain characteristic verification plans (CVPs) and other quality documentation accurately. Experience performing installation, drilling, tapping, torqueing, lubricating, and wiring tasks on mechanical and electromechanical assemblies. Ability to efficiently use calibrated equipment and machinery as part of the assembly process. Skill in inspecting incoming hardware and components for condition and suitability. Ability to understand and apply safety data and shelf‑life information for chemicals used in the process. Strong teamwork skills and willingness to work effectively with others in a structured, team‑oriented setting. Effective verbal communication skills to coordinate work and share information with coworkers and supervisors. Commitment to following EHS and safety procedures, including lock‑out/tag‑out and proper PPE use. Comfort working in a hands‑on, detail‑oriented production manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in a production manufacturing setting with assembly cells, bench build areas, or production lines. Prior experience in assembling or testing large mechanical or electromechanical components. Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes in an industrial environment. Familiarity with maintaining manual or computerized production and quality records. Experience contributing to process improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting. Comfort working with a disciplined, feedback‑oriented culture where expectations and quality standards are clearly defined. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and different stages of build while maintaining focus on quality and safety. Why Work Here? You will join a disciplined, team‑first manufacturing environment that emphasizes respect, inclusion, and safety. The site offers long‑term stability in a structured production setting where expectations are clear and feedback is part of everyday work. Supervisors and leads focus on quality, communication, and accountability, creating an atmosphere where you know how your work contributes to the overall product. Safety is a core value, supported by PPE, training, and consistent safe work practices, and the workplace maintains a zero‑tolerance stance toward harassment and unsafe behavior. This environment is well‑suited for people who value clear standards, appreciate constructive feedback, and want to build a long‑term career in manufacturing. Work Environment This role is based in a production manufacturing facility rather than an office or casual warehouse. Most work takes place in assembly cells, bench build areas, or on production lines, depending on the product and stage of build. The work is hands‑on and detail‑oriented, often involving large components and precise, step‑by‑step processes. Employees are expected to follow work instructions, perform regular quality checks, and adhere to safety standards consistently. The facility is climate controlled, but large bay doors open and close frequently, so temperatures can become warmer or cooler depending on the season. Personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices are standard, and employees work around industrial equipment such as calibrated machinery, forklifts, and cranes in a structured, safety‑focused environment.
