Mechanical Assembler/Technician Automotive Technicians or Lube Technicians would work well here! Job Description Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler/Technician where you'll be working on light and small duty vans and trucks, including HVAC trucks and small delivery vans. This role involves installation and wiring, building shelves, occasional 12v electrical work, and the use of hand and power tools. Responsibilities Work on light and small duty vans and trucks, such as HVAC trucks and small delivery vans. Perform installation and wiring tasks. Build shelves in the shop. Occasionally engage in 12v electrical work. Utilize hand and power tools as needed. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and maintain a good attitude. Help out wherever needed within the team. Essential Skills At least 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly or automotive repair. Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Ability to consistently lift 50+ lbs. Proven reliability and coachability. Experience with electrical work, particularly 12v systems. Experience with sit-down forklift operations. Experience in installation and wiring. Why Work Here? Full time and stable hours! Regular schedule is Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Batavia, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
