Utility Person Hood Container Corporation - 2.9 Chicago, IL Job Details Full-time $19 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Paid training Qualifications Record keeping Machine operation Industrial equipment troubleshooting High school diploma or GED Cleaning Warehouse experience Manufacturing Machine maintenance Manufacturing company experience Communication skills Mechanical troubleshooting Entry level Full Job Description About the Role The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience in a corrugated industry, problem solving skills, excellent communication skills and desire to learn. Successful applicant will be required to perform general clean up, help startup, and other assigned duties as required. The hourly rate is $19.00 per hour
Education:
High School Diploma or GED Experience:
Six consecutive months of manufacturing, industrial or warehouse experience is required. Corrugator experience a plus. Responsibilities and/or
Qualifications:
Verify all set-ups are correct. Maintain accurate records on specific customers for caliper. Ability to stand for up to 12 hours. Ability to work in hot, humid, noisy, and high-volume machine production area. Ability to work 12-hour shifts when required, overtime, weekends and holidays on any assigned shift. Self-motivated and committed to safety and organizational goals. Demonstrate mechanical aptitude in order to troubleshoot machine problems. Basic record-keeping and documentation functions. Ability to read a tape measure. Candidates with the following qualities are highly encouraged to apply: Highly motivated individuals with a stable work history and strong work ethic. Ability to operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain machinery. Possess effective interpersonal skills and the ability to follow verbal/written instructions. Must be team oriented.
