Entry Level Mechanical Assembler

Job Description We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team, where you will be responsible for assembling various units. Open to entry-level candidates with mechanical aptitude and previous building experience. Responsibilities Wire basic electrical components effectively. Assemble brass fittings with precision. Read and interpret pipe and wiring schematics accurately. Essential Skills Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Mechanical assembly and amplitude. Experience in building, blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with machine building, production, wiring, and HVAC systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong mechanical skills. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and listening skills. Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively across the organization. Knowledge of refrigeration systems is a plus. A sense of humor is appreciated. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elmhurst, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
