Job Description

QuickSet Defense Technologies has an immediate opening for a full-time Mechanical Assembler. Who is QuickSet? Quickset Defense Technologies, LLC is the US industry leader in heavy duty Tripods, Pan-Tilt positioners, and Camera Systems since 1933. Our Pan-Tilt positioners and camera systems are designed and manufactured in the USA and for use in harsh and challenging outdoor conditions such military usage, broadcast and communications, border security, perimeter surveillance and industrial operational safety monitoring systems. Basic Abilities and Skills for Mechanical Assembler Successful candidates will possess good mechanical aptitude and be familiar with a variety of hand tools and their use.
  • Assemble mechanical parts, components, and assemblies following blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and work instructions.
  • Inspect assembled products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
  • Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of assembled units.
  • Identify and report defective materials, parts, or equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Record production data and complete required documentation.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve assembly issues.
  • Follow company safety policies and manufacturing procedures. Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic English language skills.
  • Ability to count and do basic math.
  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, or mechanical experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and assembly instructions.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Daily Full Time Work Schedule
  • 5:30am to 2:00pm
  • Overtime may occasionally be required
