Westaff is hiring Mechanical Assemblers for Georgetown , MA Benefits to our

Mechanical Assembler:
Monday
  • Friday 1st shift: 6am
  • 2:30pm $20 2nd shift: 2:30pm
  • 11pm $23 Essential Functions of the
Mechanical Assembler:
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, and parts lists; gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials. Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements. Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and sub-assemblies. Product Assembly
  • Using hand tools (drills, picks, wrenches, hammers, tape measure)
Physical Demands:
Ability to work in a fast paced, large non-temperature controlled manufacturing environment. Ability to lift 10-30 lbs. with the assistance of another employee or using a cart Standing a minimum of 8 hours a day Sitting a minimum of 0 hours a day Walking a minimum of 8 hours a day Pulling/Pushing a minimum of 4 hours a day Ability to pass physical exam, criminal background and drug screening
Required Experience:
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Punctual Able to work with minimum supervision Excellent organizational skills Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment Sense of urgency Positive Attitude Mathematical aptitude Mechanical aptitude

High school diploma or
