Job Description

Description:
Mechanical Assembler North Attleboro, MA Description Assemble products and parts of products according to instructions, using a variety of tools and equipment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None Duties/Responsibilities:
Read blueprints, schematics, or other documentation to build products to specifications Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble products Perform manual or semi-automated tasks as it relates to applying coating, epoxy, adhesives and other items to products. Keep track of tools, parts, and supplies, and contact materials handlers when needed Regularly inspect products to ensure they meet quality and completion standards, and resolve any issues Communicate with other stations on the assembly line, and with supervisors, leads, and engineers Complete forms, reports and other documentation per assembly instructions. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent hand-eye coordination required. Strong attention to detail required. Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Flexibility to change tasks to meet schedule demands. Proficiency in reading and writing in English is essential for understanding technical documents, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma, trade school diploma or equivalent required. 1 year of related manufacturing experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds at times
