Job Description

RWC, Inc., a global leader in the design and production of innovative manufacturing systems is accepting resumes for a skilled Mechanical Assembly Leader. Job Summary:
Independently leads completion of the mechanical assembly of machines per RWC's and customer's specifications including final set-up. Communicates with Customers, Engineers, Program Managers and others during the course of the project. Coordinates and directs work of others while acting in a leadership role.
Essential Functions:
Using input from Project Management, Customer(s), Supervision, and/or Project Team, develops a mechanical assembly plan which ensures timely and accurate completion of the mechanical project schedule requirements. Directs and assigns work to meet the plan. Responsible for leading and coordinating a group in the mechanical assembly of one or more machines. May also lead and coordinate other disciplines when assigned including contractors. Operates all machinery associated with mechanically building and piping of equipment. Lays out, assembles, and sets up machines of all designs to make a complete assembly line or individual machines. Coordinates air, hydraulic, water and lubrication and component installation with customer specifications and preferences.
Essential Qualifications:
Must have strong mechanical background in the area of machine build and repair. Must possess and practice knowledge of basic computer skills and the ability to adapt to all applicable software that is required for the Company's operations in the machine build assembly process. Must possess knowledge and ability to read and interpret detailed mechanical and fluid power drawings pertaining to the job. Must have proven leadership skills. Must be able to travel independently to and from customer's job sites to meet the customer's requirements.
