- Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Assembly Operator to join our manufacturing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for assembling components and products with precision, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will contribute to efficient production workflows, supporting our commitment to delivering high-quality products. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools according to drawings. Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to verify component dimensions and tolerances. Handle manual handling tasks safely while adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment when necessary for material handling and component movement. Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process, ensuring all parts meet specifications before final inspection. Experience Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is preferred, especially with mechanical assembly or fabrication tasks. Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers is highly desirable. Knowledge of welding, soldering, machining, or welding techniques will be considered an asset. Ability to operate power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment safely and effectively. Experience with forklift operation or warehouse logistics is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail will help ensure success in this role.
