Job details Summary Spherion $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Temp to Perm 5:45 AM - 4:15 PM Industry installation, maintenance & repair (Installation, Maintenance, and Repair Occupations) Reference number S_176806 Job details We are currently seeking Mechanical Assemblers to join a growing team in Lake Crystal. Our Mechanical Assemblers are responsible for assembling and installing custom truck bodies, operating machinery, and working with hydraulic systems in a hands-on manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality production while maintaining safety and efficiency standards. ... Monday-Thursday, 5:45AM-4:15PM (overtime on Fridays)
Responsibilities:
Install and mount custom truck bodies onto vehicles Operate equipment to cut, bend, saw, and punch steel parts for mounting Assemble and work with hydraulic systems, including PTO (power take-offs) and pumps Maintain a clean and organized workspace Follow safety protocols and wear required protective gear
Skills:
Experience with wire feed welding and hand plasma cutting is a plus 1-2 years of experience in installation, assembly, or a related vehicle industry Familiarity with hydraulics, PTOs, pumps, electrical systems, and wiring Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and willingness to participate in process improvements
Qualifications:
Strong math skills for accurate machine setup and measurements Ability to read blueprints, job specifications, and use measuring tools Capable of manually handling materials up to 50 lbs. and using hoists Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency Apply today to join a team that values hard work and innovation!
