Job Title:
Mechanical Assembler - 1st shift 7am-3:30pm M-F Job Description We are seeking experienced Mechanical Assemblers to join a dynamic team in Minneapolis, MN. This position involves assembling aluminum components and systems used in large-scale construction projects. This role is a contract-to-hire opportunity, offering the potential for full-time employment based on performance. Responsibilities Assemble aluminum components and systems for commercial and multifamily construction projects. Utilize hand tools and power tools for mechanical assembly. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Ensure quality and precision in every assembly task. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Essential Skills Experience in mechanical assembly. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and blueprint reading. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with aluminum or metal assembly/fabrication is preferred. Ability to troubleshoot and make adjustments during assembly. Familiarity with quality inspection processes. Experience in construction-related manufacturing environments. Understanding of workflow efficiency or lean practices. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based on-site in Minneapolis, MN, within a fast-paced production environment. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Employees are required to consistently lift weights between 25-65 lbs and must wear steel-toe boots. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
