Mechanical Assembler - $19/hr
HIRING IMMEDIATELY
!!! Job Description This role focuses on mechanically upfitting and assembling trucks/vehicles, using blueprints and a variety of hand and power tools. You will follow daily instructions to complete assembly tasks accurately and efficiently while contributing to a high-quality production environment. Responsibilities + Assemble and upfit trucks and similar vehicles according to specifications and project requirements. + Interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions to complete mechanical assemblies accurately. + Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform mechanical assembly and upfitting tasks. + Install, adjust, and secure mechanical components and accessories on trucks to meet upfitting standards. + Inspect completed assemblies for proper fit, function, and quality, and make adjustments as needed. + Follow day-to-day instructions from supervisors or leads to prioritize tasks and meet production schedules. + Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. + Follow safety procedures and best practices while working with mechanical components, tools, and equipment. + Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues, delays, or quality concerns to appropriate personnel. Essential Skills + Mechanical upfitting experience, particularly with trucks or similar vehicles. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings. + Proficiency using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers for mechanical assembly. + Proficiency using power tools such as drills and impact drivers in a safe and controlled manner. + Mechanical aptitude gained through experience as a mechanic, upfitter, lube technician, automotive worker, assembler, or similar hands-on role. + Ability to follow day-to-day instructions and adapt to changing priorities. + Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly and high-quality work. + Capability to perform physically hands-on tasks in a mechanical assembly environment.
