RESPONSIBILITIES
: Follow all safety procedures, production requirements, quality standards, and company policies. Operate fabrication equipment. Set up, adjust, and monitor machinery to meet production specifications and operational requirements. Deburr, sort, and organize parts to support production and assembly processes. Cut raw materials according to blueprints, specifications, and production requirements. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and work instructions accurately. Verify measurements and tolerances using tape measures, calipers, and other precision measuring tools. Inspect parts and materials to ensure quality, accuracy, and customer specifications are met. Complete assigned work in a timely manner while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards. Support on-time delivery goals by maintaining productivity and workflow efficiency. Maintain work areas in accordance with 5S and organizational standards. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities related to safety, quality, and operational efficiency. Assist with general production support and cross-functional tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience High school diploma or GED. Previous manufacturing, fabrication, or machine operation experience. Experience reading blueprints and working with measurements.
Preferred:
Experience operating water jets, Mazak lasers, saws, CNC routers, brake presses, and CNC rollers
Preferred:
Familiarity with fabrication and metal processing equipment
Preferred:
CNC programming or setup experience Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Knowledge of basic manufacturing and fabrication processes. Ability to accurately use tape measures, calipers, and measuring devices. Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for quality. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. Ability to prioritize tasks and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to learn and operate multiple types of equipment and machinery. Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing and production floor environment. Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud noise levels, and industrial equipment. Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety-toed footwear. Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and material handling throughout the shift. Overtime and flexible scheduling may be required based on production needs. Work performed primarily indoors in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment. Regular exposure to moving machinery, energized equipment, and industrial tools. Ability to lift and move material up to 50 lbs unassisted.
