Mechanical Assembler Job Description Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler, where you will be responsible for assembling custom CNC machinery using a variety of hand and power tools. This role involves working with blueprints and schematics, often compared to building complex Ikea furniture. You will undergo 4-6 months of training to become proficient in your role. A willingness to learn and the ability to maintain a clean work area are essential. Please note that this is a physical role requiring the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Responsibilities Assemble custom CNC machinery using hand and power tools. Follow blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate assembly. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Engage in a learning process to fully understand assembly techniques. Essential Skills Experience with assembly and using hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Mechanical aptitude. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous assembly experience is preferred. Eagerness and ability to learn new skills, including blueprint and schematic reading. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
