Shift Hours:
6:00 AM•3:00 PM Monday•Friday Position Overview We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented Mechanical Assemblers to join our Durables manufacturing team. This is a bench assembly position focused on building high-quality mechanical and electromechanical products in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on mechanical assembly experience or candidates looking to grow their manufacturing career through training and advancement opportunities. Key Responsibilities Perform bench assembly of mechanical and electromechanical products using hand and power tools Assemble plastic and metal components according to work instructions and assembly drawings Follow Bills of Materials (BOMs), work orders, flow charts, and assembly procedures Perform mechanical assembly, testing, and documentation throughout the production process Operate hand tools, torque tools, fixtures, presses, and measuring equipment Complete startup and end-of-day equipment inspections Inspect finished assemblies to ensure quality standards are met Record production information and complete required manufacturing documentation Work closely with Manufacturing Engineers and Team Leads to troubleshoot assembly issues Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following 5S principles Follow company quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures at all times Training Provided Training on the first day will include: Good Documentation Practices (GDP) Quality Management System (QMS) Safety procedures Electronic work instructions Manufacturing processes Product-specific assembly training Quality inspection procedures Qualifications Minimum 2 years of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred Experience using hand and power tools Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and work orders Strong attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Basic computer skills for electronic work instructions and documentation Preferred Experience Mechanical or electromechanical assembly Bench assembly Manufacturing or production environment Medical device, electronics, aerospace, or precision manufacturing experience Lean Manufacturing or 5S experience Work Environment Fast-paced manufacturing environment performing bench assembly of durable products while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
