10/6/2021 Position Overview High temperature furnace manufacturer in Allenstown NH seeks a person with mechanical skills to assemble high temperature vacuum and controlled atmosphere furnaces. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented team player who strives for top quality workmanship, be comfortable reading blue prints, assembling gas and water systems, but we are willing to train the right individual. Must be a self-starter with a willingness to do whatever needs to be done, and you will be able to see a project from start to a finished operational high temperature furnace. Essential Job Functions:

Assembly of products according to specifications. Preparation of hoses for water-cooling systems. Assemble pallets for shipping furnaces. Rework and make parts as needed. Performs typical maintenance tasks to support the assembly floor and the entire facility. Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required. Deliver and pick-up parts/products from vendors. Assemble gas systems read blueprints and drawings and also follow verbal instructions. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Working Conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
