Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to build and assemble industrial packaging machinery from the ground up in a manufacturing facility environment. This role involves installing and assembling mechanical components including valves, cylinders, motors, pumps, and related systems using a variety of hand and power tools. The ideal candidate has a mechanical aptitude, can read assembly drawings and blueprints, and works well independently and as part of a production team.

High SchoolResponsibilities Assemble packaging machinery and equipment according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions Install and align mechanical components including valves, pneumatic cylinders, motors, pumps, bearings, conveyors, and related hardware Use hand tools and power tools to perform mechanical assembly and equipment installation Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), and assembly instructions Perform drilling, tapping, measuring, fitting, and alignment of machine components Assemble pneumatic and mechanical systems to specification Inspect completed assemblies to ensure proper fit, function, and quality standards Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make adjustments as needed during assembly Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing work environment Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and production teams to complete projects on schedule Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards The essential functions of this role include:wearing steel toe shoesSkillsMechanical AssemblingParts AssemblingQualificationsYears of experience: 3 yearsExperience level: ExperiencedRandstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
