• RMS Owego MTA is seeking an assembler to support our production manufacturing facility whose mission is to fabricate machined components and assemblies needed for the success of our armed forces both at home and abroad\.

The Owego MTA is instrumental in the production of various components utilized on helicopters, radar systems, and electronic warfare systems that are vital to the success of our service men and women\. An assembler at RMS Owego MTA will be responsible for the installation of mechanical hardware to include helicoils, dowel pins, spring pins, keenserts, PEM fasteners, rivnuts, and rivets\. Work will be performed on individual machined parts, sheet metal components, and on assembled structures\.

• Basic Qualifications:

• Mechanical assembler with a high level of competency using hand tools for the installation and assembly of components
• Insert \(helicoil, pin, PEM, rivets\) experience
• Blueprint reading experience Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of an integrated team\.

• Desired Skills:

• Rivet bucking and hand/pneumatic squeezing
• Pemserter operation
• Sheet metal brake operation
• Rivnut pulling
• Tool making \(rivet tools, dowel pin depth setting, etc\.

• Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

• Pay Rate:

• The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $47,100
• $83,030\.

• The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $54,200
• $90,275\.
