00 (Based on experience) Overview We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems with precision and efficiency, ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and experience reading schematics and blueprints. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the creation of high-quality machinery and equipment in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions:
Assemble mechanical and electrical components and systems according to detailed schematics and blueprints Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other tools to ensure accurate fitting and alignment Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide assembly processes Work with wood or metal materials Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances Assist with inventory management of parts, tools, and materials in the warehouse Support forklift operation for material handling when necessary
Qualifications:
Proven experience with mechanical assemblies in manufacturing or assembly environments; warehouse experience is advantageous Experience with carpentry, crate building, or sheet metal fabrication is highly desirable Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques Knowledge of fabrication processes including machining and welding is preferred Ability to operate forklifts safely (certification is a plus) Basic understanding of manufacturing workflows and quality control procedures
